The terms and conditions presented herein establish the agreement between you and Rushden Airport Cabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
1. Definitions
Rushden Airport Cabs denoted as “we” or “us,” pertains to the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for the journey, especially for airport transfers where timely check-in is essential. Rushden Airport Cabs is not accountable for delays arising from your failure to allocate adequate travel time or unpreparedness for collection at the designated time.
2.2 Ordering a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage rests with you. Rushden Airport Cabs does not guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. Notably, a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Individuals requiring wheelchair access should communicate this during the booking process.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quoted prices, exclusive of VAT unless specified, are based on information provided by you. We reserve the right to modify the quote in case of substantial changes to the itinerary.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and airport parking costs. Any exceeding waiting time will incur standard Rushden Airport Cabs waiting rates.
3.3 Confirmation of the booking is provided upon accepting our quote. It is your responsibility to ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Rushden Airport Cabs may result in delays or costs, for which we shall not be held responsible.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 Passenger behavior is the responsibility of the person making the booking. Charges may apply for soiling, damaging, or negatively impacting the vehicle.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.
4.3 Children in the car must be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 Passenger capacity adheres to licensing or insurance specifications.
5. Cancellations
5.1 Timely notification of cancellations is crucial. Charges apply if a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, based on the distance covered.
5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.
6. Liability
6.1 While we strive for timely arrivals, Rushden Airport Cabs is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. No liability exists for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 Breakdowns prompt efforts to provide an alternative car for a swift journey completion.
6.4 You will not hold Rushden Airport Cabs accountable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses caused by anyone in your party.
6.5 Liability exclusion is not applicable for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, as deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Subcontracting of obligations is permissible by Rushden Airport Cabs. You may not transfer your obligations or rights under this agreement.
8.2 Rushden Airport Cabs can alter terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Regular review of terms is advised. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Data processing aligns with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Rushden Airport Cabs and yourself.
8.5 No third party holds right to enforce terms unless specified in writing.
9. Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be lodged within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period will not be entertained by Rushden Airport Cabs.
